Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, 25, has reported Lyme disease on social media, Reuters reported today.

"They've recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease and have other effects on skin and brain function, energy and overall health. "I don't realize that I have severe chronic mononucleosis."

"It's been hard for a few years, but until now, I've been fighting and overcoming this disease, which is an incurable disease with the right treatment," he said.

He also announced that he will post a series of documentaries containing this story on YouTube soon.

A ten-part documentary about his life will be posted on YouTube on the 27th.

Lyme disease, which is common in the United States, is caused by tick-borne Borrelia bacteria, which show symptoms similar to influenza in the early stages of infection.

Beaver said on his Instagram account last year that he had addressed depression, drug use, and celebrity grievances, and that religion and wife Hayley Baldwin helped him overcome.
