It is a sub-model released the following year of the Ricoh XR-P. In the XR-P, TV exposure mode, multiple exposure, interval timer, synchro terminal, and depth preview functions are omitted.



MOTOR3 and release grip are compatible.


For domestic use, it is the XR-20SP (there is a data bag), and for export, it is the XR-20SP with the data bag of the same name omitted, and the KR-30SP (for North America) of the same name, which also has the data bag omitted.​

It is strong that SP is not an abbreviation for SPOT METER, SUPER, SPECIAL, etc., but an abbreviation for SPORTS PROGRAM.
