At the time, the universal shutter speed of the SLR was 1000/1 second, and the 2000/1 second of the ST801 belonged to a fairly fast axis.
What I thought was unusual while using the ST801.
1. It must have been innovative at the time. Shutter speed is indicated by LED, not needle type.
2. Exposure metering is possible with a half shutter. (For FUJINON lenses, open metering is possible)
3. It is fixed by pressing and turning the depth-of-field pre-button, so that even older M42 lenses can be metered and photographed with a stop-down method.
4. General M42 cameras at that time generally used 1.35V mercury battery, but ST801 uses 6V battery called PX28 or LR44, so it can be used conveniently without any correction. to be.
In the other Fujika series
There are Fujica ST605N, Fujica ST701, Fujica ST801, Fujica ST901 and Fujica ST901W.
Later, the M42 mount was abandoned and the original mount, the AX series, was transferred.
